THE BRANDERY

A new edition of The Brandery will be held from July 13th to 15th in Barcelona (hall 8 in Fira de Barcelona (Montjuïc)).

Una nueva edición de The Brandery tendrá lugar del 13 al 15 de julio en Barcelona (palacio 8 de Fira de Barcelona (Montjuïc)).

The slogan of the 5th edition of this trade exhibition will be 'The Hot Spot', a place for fashion, creativity, culture and business since, apart from fashion, The Brandery will hold exhitibions, fashion shows, contests and events.

El lema de la 5ª edición de esta feria será 'The Hot Spot', un lugar para la moda, la creatividad, la cultura y los negocios ya que, aparte de moda, The Brandery también tendrá cabida para exposiciones, desfiles, concursos y eventos.

Besides, on the occasion of The Brandery, Barcelona will receive for the first time the 'Fitting Room' showroom with a special edition that will be held in the B-hotel (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 389-391) on July 14th. Artists and designers from Germany, Colombia, France, Spain, etc. will show their creations along the 28 rooms of the hotel.

Además, con motivo de The Brandery, Barcelona acogerá por primera vez el showroom 'Fitting Room' con una edición especial que tendrá lugar en el B-Hotel (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 389-391) el 14 de julio. Artistas y diseñadores de Alemania, Colombia, Francia, España, etc. mostrarán sus creaciones en las 28 habitaciones del hotel.

BLANCO: NEW CAMPAIGN

Although the summer and the high temperatures have covered Spain, the fashion brands are thinking of the new collections where the sun and this heat remain aside.

So Blanco presents us the new coming season Campaign.

Aunque el verano y las altas temperaturas ya han llegado a toda España, las marcas de moda tienen la vista puesta en las próximas colecciones donde el sol y la calor quedan en un segundo plano.

Así, Blanco nos presenta su nueva Campaña de avance de temporada.

The presence of multi stripes and knit are the must-have of the autumn, so the collection is full of jerseys, tricot cardigans, etc.

Concerning the chromatic palette, the burgundy, mustard and emerald green shades are the stars.

La presencia de las multirayas y el punto se imponen como los imprescindibles del otoño, de manera que encontramos jerseys, cárdigans de tricot, etc.

En cuanto a la paleta cromática, los tonos burdeos, mostaza y verde esmeralda son los protagonistas.

SASH BELT (CINTURÓN FAJÍN)

One of the trends for this summer is the sash belt, which is perfect to make the waistline look narrower.

Una de las tendencias para este verano es el cinturón fajín que es perfecto para marcar la cintura.

I would recommend to wear it especially over pencil skirts or dresses, although it can also work with shirt and pants.


Yo recomendaría utilizarlo, sobre todo, con faldas de tubo o vestidos, aunque también queda bien con camisa y pantalones.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Some of you already know that some days ago I travelled to New York for a few days.

Thanks to Is from la 5th con Bleecker St, who I'm pretty sure that you already know, I planned my trip in detail and I could manage pretty well in such a big city.

Algunas ya sabéis que hace poquito estuve en New York.

Gracias a Is de la 5th con Bleecker St, a quien seguro que ya conocéis, preparé mi viaje minuciosamente y me pude desenvolver bastante bien en esta enorme ciudad.

Although the weather was not good (rain, rain and more rain) we walked down the streets of the city and had fun.

I would recommend you visit the MET and the MOMA museums.

I attended the Alexander McQueen's exhibition, Savage Beauty, at the MET museum and it's worth it. Just a shame we couldn't take pictures!

Aunque el tiempo no nos acompañó (lluvia, lluvia y más lluvia) pudimos pasear por las calles de la ciudad y disfrutar.

Os recomendaría visitar los museos MET y MOMA.

Asistí a la exposición de Alexander McQueen, Savage Beauty, en el MET y vale muchísimo la pena. ¡Lástima que no se pudieran sacar fotos!

A walk by the Brooklyn bridge from where you can see very nice views from Manhattan (if it's not foggy) it's worth it. Lovers place their 'love padlock' there, like in Rome. From this bridge you can also see the Manhattan bridge.

Un paseo por el puente de Brooklyn desde donde se pueden ver unas vistas muy bonitas de Manhattan (si no hay niebla) vale la pena. Los amantes ponen su 'candado de amor' allí, como en Roma. Desde este puente también se puede ver el puente de Manhattan que no tiene desperdicio.

One of my favourite places was without any doubt Times Square. We had the hotel very close to his amazing square so we had to pass by it everyday... I was so happy and so impressed with all the lights, the light boxes...

Uno de mis sitios favoritos fue, sin lugar a dudas, Times Square. Teníamos el hotel muy cerca de esta plaza así que teníamos que pasar por ella cada día... Yo estaba tan feliz y tan impresionada con todas las luces, los anuncios luminosos...

The views from the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) are awesome!!

Las vistas desde el Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) son impresionantes.
