SEE BY CHLOÉ: NEW PERFUME

As I told you some time ago, the perfume that I'm currently using is Love from Chloé.

However, now Chloé has launched a new fragance for their second brand, See by Chloé. This new perfume is very fresh, thanks to the bergamot and apple tree flower, with a touch of both floral and fruity, so it's directed to a young and modern public.

I really like the perfume. As it's so fresh I like using it daily especially on these warm days.

Como os comentaba hace ya algún tiempo, el perfume que utilizo es Love de Chloé.

Ahora Chloé ha lanzado una nueva fragancia para su segunda firma, See by Chloé. Este nuevo perfume es muy fresco, gracias a la bergamota y flor de manzano, con un toque floral afrutado, por lo que está dirigido a un público joven y actual.

El perfume me encanta y, como es tan fresco, me gusta ponérmelo durante el día y, sobre todo, en esta época del año que los días son ya más calurosos.

Besides, the design of the crystal bottle, inspired in the birds cages, is really nice. 

Además, el diseño del frasco de cristal, inspirado en las jaulas de aves de época, me parece muy bonito.

THE BODY SHOP: THE EXPERIENCE

Last week The Body Shop called some bloggers to present us their new perfume White Musk Libertine as well as all their make-up and cosmetics lines, and their latest collections and limited editions for the Christmas season.

White Musk Libertine is a sensual, sweet and feminine perfume perfect for all free, daren and independent women. It contains unique floral notes, different types of musk and Turkish essences. It's now my new perfume and I love it. I highly recommend it. Try it and you will love it, also your boyfriends ;)

La semana pasada The Body Shop nos convocó a varias bloggers para presentarnos su nuevo perfume White Musk Libertine, así como todas sus líneas, tanto de maquillaje como de cosmética, y sus nuevas colecciones y ediciones limitadas de cara a estas Navidades.

White Musk Libertine es un perfume sensual, dulce y femenino pensado para todas las mujeres libres, atrevidas, independientes, con personalidad y seguras de sí mismas. Contiene notas florales únicas, diferentes tipos de almizcle y esencias turcas. Ya se ha convertido en mi nuevo perfume y estoy encantada. Os recomiendo sinceramente que lo probéis porque estoy segura de que os gustará a vosotras y a vuestros chicos ;) 

Raúl, the make-up artist, taught us to make ourselves up specially for this Christmas. Nukunuku was 'the model' for this make-up session. For the eyes Raúl used a pack that The Body Shop has launched composed by 4 shades in brown and gold, including also a brush and an eyeliner, which is perfect to create the
smoky eyes effect that I like so much. The result was an awesome look! The pack is also in a silver version.

For the make-up Raúl used products that belong to the collection Extra Virgin Minerals, which are 100% mineral. This is the first mineral make-up collection that includes fair-trade with communities ingredients. Each non irritant formula is free of fragance and parabens and it's suitable for all kind of skins.

Raúl, el maquillador de la firma, nos dio una clase magistral de cómo maquillarnos especialmente para estas fiestas. Nukunuku fue 'la modelo' que se prestó para la sesión de maquillaje. Para los ojos utilizó un estuche que The Body Shop ha lanzado para estas navidades que consta de 4 sombras en tonos marrón y dorado, con el pincel para aplicar el producto y un lápiz de ojos. Este estuche de bonita presentación es perfecto para crear los ojos ahumados que tanto me gustan. ¡¡El resultado conseguido en 'la modelo' fue una mirada espectacular!! Este pack también está disponible en la versión plateado, ambas versiones me parecen ideales para las fiestas navideñas o algún evento especial.

Para el maquillaje de la cara se utilizaron productos de la colección Extra Virgin Minerals, que son 100% mineral. Ésta es la primera colección de maquillaje que contiene ingredientes de Comercio Justo con Comunidades. Cada una de las fórmulas no irritantes está libre de fragancia y de parabenos y es adecuada para todo tipo de pieles.

During the event, Marisa, the responsible person of the meeting, showed us the different lines that The Body Shop has for both men and women depending on our skin type, our age and so. She also showed us specific products in case we want to illuminate our skin, for example.

It's worth mentioning that the politics of The Body Shop is protecting the environment so they use sustainable products and they don't test in animals (their brushes don't contain animal hair).  

Durante el evento, Marisa, responsable del encuentro, nos enseñó todas las líneas faciales que The Body Shop tiene para cada uno de nosotros (disponen de líneas también para ellos) dependiendo de nuestro tipo de piel, edad, etc. También nos enseñó los productos específicos si deseamos iluminar o vitaminar nuestro cutis, por ejemplo.

Cabe mencionar y resaltar que The Body Shop tiene como política proteger el medio ambiente, por ello, utiliza productos sostenibles y, además, no testa en animales (todas sus brochas están 100% libres de pelo animal).

She also showed us the whole make-up line.

También nos mostró la línea entera de maquillaje.

As you may know, one of the main products of The Body Shop are the butters. If you haven't tried them yet, I invite you to do it. The butters moisturize more than the conventional creams and they smell very well (there are available different perfumes).

Como sabréis, uno de los productos estrella de The Body Shop son las mantecas. Si aún no las habéis probado, no sabéis lo que os estáis perdiendo ;) Hidratan muchísimo la piel y, además, huelen increíblemente bien (disponen de diferentes olores), tanto que dan ganas de comérselas ;)

And finally we had a look at the special packs and limited editions for this Christmas, which are perfect to give as a present.  

Y, por último, nos enseñaron los packs especiales y ediciones limintadas para estas Navidades que son perfectos para regalar.

LOVE CHLOÉ

I'm a very special girl for parfums. Most of them don't convince me, others make me feel sick...

However, once I had the opportunity to smell Love Chloé and I liked it a lot.

Hacía mucho tiempo que no utilizaba perfume porque ninguno me acababa de convencer y, por más que probaba, no encontraba uno que realmente me gustase. Es más, muchos de ellos me provocaban arcadas y dolor de estómago por lo que llegué a pensar que podía tener algún tipo de problema con los olores...

Sin embargo, en una compra en una perfumería me dieron una muestra del perfume Love Chloé. Lo probé y mi gran sorpresa fue que me gustó mucho y que, aunque fuese un perfume un poco fuerte y de los que te aguanta en la piel, no me producía ninguna reacción negativa al cuerpo. Estuve poniéndome esa muestra hasta que se me agotó y cada vez me gustaba más su olor.

So I decided to purchase this parfum and I use it everyday. I like it so much!!

Tanto fue lo que me gustó que decidí hacerme con un frasco del perfume. No hay día que no salga de casa sin echarme unas gotas y estoy encantada.

PURE CUSTO BARCELONA

Last week I had the pleasure to attend the presentation of Pure Custo Barcelona, the new fragance by Custo Barcelona, thanks to Idesa Parfums.

'With the fragance I wanted to return to the beginning: to remember what we were looking for when we launched the brand: freshness and creative freedom to do something new and different, something that didn't exist in the market.' These are the words expressed by Custo Dalmau facing the new challenge.

In the presentation we were given an explanation of the whole process of the creation of the scent, for women and men, from the selection of the olfactive notes, until the design of the bottle, the packaging of the product, etc.

La semana pasada asistí a la presentación de Pure Custo Barcelona, la nueva fragancia de Custo Barcelona, de la mano de Idesa Parfums.

'Con la fragancia he querido volver al principio: recordar lo que buscábamos cuando lanzamos la marca: frescura y libertad creativa para hacer algo nuevo, distinto, algo que no existía en el mercado.' Éstas son las palabras de Custo Dalmau ante el nuevo reto.

Así, Pure Custo Barcelona es un homenaje a los orígenes donde las señas de identidad de Custo Barcelona están plasmadas en el perfume. 

En la presentación nos explicaron todo el proceso de creación de la fragancia, tanto para mujer como para hombre, desde la selección de las notas olfativas, hasta el diseño del envase, el packaging del producto, etc.

After the whole explanation of the creation of the fragance, we had the opportunity to taste a cocktail inspired in the essence of Pure Custo Barcelona.

Después de la explicación del completo proceso de elaboración de la fragancia, tuvimos la oportunidad de saborear un delicioso cocktail inspirado en la esencia de Pure Custo Barcelona.

Besides, it was the perfect chance to meet other bloggers from Spain and talk a bit about Pure Custo Barcelona and Custo Barcelona.

Además, fue el momento perfecto para encontrarme con otras bloggers de toda España y poder intercambiar opiniones sobre Pure Custo Barcelona y sobre Custo Barcelona.

I highly recommend Pure Custo Barcelona for both men and women. It's a perfect present for this Christmas.

Womanity by Thierry Mugler

Womanity is the new fragance by Thierry Mugler.

On Saturday I was invited to live the first 'Womanity Experience' in the CC La Maquinista (Barcelona). There we found a Womanity bus, magic tricks and acrobatics.

El sábado me invitaron a vivir la primera 'Womanity Experience' en el CC La Maquinista (Barcelona). Un autobús de Womanity, trucos de magia, acrobacias y más sorpresas nos recibieron. 



Bus, magic tricks... and surprises






















Inside the bus there was a powder room were we could make ourselves up.

Dentro del autobús había un tocador donde podíamos maquillarnos.

There was also a space where we could get acces to the web of Womanity and leave any comments about its fragance.

También había un sitio en el que podíamos acceder a la web de Womanity y dejar algún comentario sobre su fragancia.

We could also stick post it notes on the wall of the bus with what Womanity meant for us.

También podíamos pegar post its en la pared del autobús con lo que Womanity significaba para nosotros.

The fragance is very original. It contains fig and extract of the leave of the fig trees, as well as caviar, so the fragance is a mix between sweet and salty, which makes it unique. Besides the bottle has an exclusive design and the cap seems a ring.

La fragancia es muy original. Contiene higo y extractos de hoja de higuera, así como caviar, por lo que la fragancia es una mezcla entre lo dulce y salado, de manera que hace que sea única. Además, el frasco tiene un diseño exclusivo y el tapón tiene forma de anillo.

Opium by YSL is back / Opium de YSL se renueva

Yves Saint Laurent have revamped the image of their legendary perfume Opium. There have been lots of limited editions of the Japanese-style bottle, but this season they've officially reinterpreted the fragrance. They wanted to create a colour combination between the gold tones, the black chain and the reddish tones of the bottle.

The new Opium was created by the brand's creative director Stefano Pilati and the famous creative director Fabien Baron. And of course a product of such calibre merits a really great campaign. The glamour of the perfume is represented by model Karen Elson, who was photographed by Mert & Marcus.

Opium aims to be a top name in elegance and luxury this Christmas. The scent is opulent, combining fresh notes with a warm base. Mandarin, bergamot and lily of the valley blend with heart notes of myrrh, carnation and touches of vanilla to create a beautiful oriental harmony.

Yves Saint Laurent renueva la imagen de su mítico perfume Opium. Su frasco de estética nipona ha visto infinidad de versiones edición limitada, pero esta temporada se renueva oficialmente. Buscan un juego cromático con el dorado, con la cuerda de su interior negra, con los destellos rojizos de su frasco.

Los responsables de la renovación de Opium han sido el propio Stefano Pilati, director creativo de la firma y Fabien Baron, reconocido director creativo. Una renovación como ésta, merece una campaña a su altura. El glamour de Opium queda representado por la modelo Karen Elson fotografiada por Mert & Marcus.
 
Opium quiere convertirse en un referente de elegancia y lujo estas navidades. Su esencia es opulenta, mezclando sus notas frescas con una base cálida. La mandarina, bergamota y azucena junto a un corazón de mirra y clavel con toques de vainilla para crear una armonía oriental maravillosa.
