WHITE ON WHITE

I've never paired two white (or cream) garments. Whenever I tried that combination I had the feeling that I looked like a painter, so I changed my mind.

Looks like this trend is in fashion now since I've been seeing too many looks pairing two or more white garments. Do you like this trend?

Nunca he sido de combinar dos prendas blancas (o color crema) juntas. Cuando me probaba esta combinación, me daba la impresión de que iba de pintor, así que me cambiaba corriendo.

Parece que ahora esta tendencia está de moda porque he visto numerosos looks combinando dos prendas (o más) blancas. ¿Qué os parece?

GOLD THERAPY

Gold Therapy is the new serum from Ainhoa (a cosmetics brand whom I talked to you here) for facial care, body and hair. It's composed of ingredients renowned for being highly effective. These ingredients are argan oil, chia oil and ceramides.

This serum has a soft texture with a nice scent. 

I've been using it for a while for the face and I notice my skin very soft and with a very good aspect. Gold Therapy leaves my skin very moisturized and with a very nice smell. With a few drops (2 or 3) of oil on each application is enough. The results on the skin appear immediately. 

I have also used it for my hair. I just extend a few drops of oil on my hands and comb through the hair to give definition and to control frizz. The nice smell on the hair lasts almost the whole day.


Gold Therapy es el nuevo serum de la marca Ainhoa (de la que ya os hablé aquí) apto para la cara, cuerpo y el cabello. Está compuesto de ingredientes como el aceite de argán, el aceite de chia y ceramidas que son altamente efectivos para cuidar la piel y el cabello.



Este serum tiene una textura suave y con un perfume muy agradable.

Yo lo he estado utilizando durante un tiempo en la cara y noto que mi piel está muy suave y con muy buen aspecto. Gold Therapy deja mi piel muy hidratada y con un olor muy agradable. Con 2 ó 3 gotas de serum en cada aplicación es suficiente. Los resultados se notan ya tras la primera aplicación.

También lo he utilizado en el cabello. Simplemente extiendo unas cuantas gotas del serum en mis manos y voy pasándolo por el pelo Me ayuda a darle definición y controlar el encrespamiento. El olor tan agradable del serum me dura casi todo el día.

But Gold Therapy has too many other possibilities. If you want to use it for the body, it's perfect to hydrate and nourish dry skin. Also, it's perfect to use it after sun exposure for awesome looking skin. I can't wait for the beach time to arrive so that I can use the serum on my body.

You can also use it as a hand mask applying it generoulsy, massaging the fingers. Then covering hands wit cotton gloves for thirty minutes.

If you prefer, you can apply iluminating powder to shoulders,neck and legs. Aftewards apply the oil with a massage. The skin will look glossy and bright.

Pero Gold Therapy tiene muchas más posibilidades. Si deséais utilizarlo en el cuerpo, es ideal para hidratar la piel y nutrir las pieles secas. Es perfecto para utilizarlo después de la exposición al sol dejando una piel espectacular. Estoy deseando que llegue el momento de ir a la playa para poder aplicarme el serum en el cuerpo.

También se puede utilizar a modo de mascarilla para las manos aplicándolo generosamente en ambas manos, masajeando los dedos. Luego se aconseja cubrir las manos con guantes de algodón durante media hora.

Si preferís, también podéis utilizar este serum sobre un polvo iluminador que os podáis haber aplicado sobre los hombros, escote o piernas y veréis como os deja una piel satinada y luminosa.

CONVERSE

I still remember when I was at high school by the 90's that the Converse sneakers came into fashion. That was the grunge time when maxi jerseys, ripped jeans and checkered shirts were in fashion. For me Converse sneakers was love at first sight. I can remember that I bought a pair in pink, well, pink is not a grunge colour actually. 

Some years ago the grunge style became popular again, although maybe not in such an excessive way as in the 90's. So with this trend, Converse  sneakers became popular, too. It seemed that this trend would last only a few days, but the truth is that we see Converse sneakers regularly in the streets and in shop windows. Even celebrities and bloggers wear them daily.

 

Todavía me acuerdo de cuando, estando en el instituto allá por los años 90, se pusieron de moda las zapatillas Converse. Era la época del grunge, de los jerseys grandes, de los pantalones vaqueros rotos, de las camisetas estiradas, de las camisas de leñador… Y a mí las Converse me cautivaron enseguida. Recuerdo que me compré unas en color rosa, que, ahora que lo pienso, no son muy grunge, pero lo cierto es que elegí ese color.
Y como en moda todo vuelve, hace unos años regresó el estilo grunge, aunque quizás no tan exagerado como en la década de los 90. Y con él volvieron también las Converse. Parecía que iba a ser cosa de dos días, la verdad es que las Converse siguen viéndose por la calle y en los escaparates. Incluso las celebrities y las bloggers las usan en su día a día.

Last year I bought a pair of Converse sneakers in white and I usually wear them because they're very comfortable. As a sign, here you have a look of mine wearing them. Actually I feel so comfy with them that I really want to buy a new pair. There are too many different types: with the American flag, with dots, with flowers, in denim or even with a Batman drawing.  

Yo misma, que el año pasado me compré mis Converse blancas, sigo llevándolas cuando quiero ir cómoda. Como muestra, aquí tenéis un look que hice con ellas. De hecho, estoy tan a gusto con ellas que tengo ganas de comprarme otras. Ahora he visto que además de colores diversos las hay con la bandera americana, con lunares, con flores, con tela vaquera e incluso con un Batman dibujado.

WHITE BLAZER

Blazers are my ally when I have to go to the office for working, because they give that serious touch to my looks. In winter I usually wear blazers in dark colours (black, dark blue, camel), whilst in summer I wear blazers in bright colours (remember that last year colour blocking was in fashion).

Amongst all my blazers, I'm very fond of my white one. It's perfect for this season and it pairs with everything.

So today I want to show you some looks with white blazer. You'll see serious and casual looks, since both are possible with white blazer.

Los blazers son mis aliados para ir a trabajar porque le dan ese toque formal a mis looks. En invierno apuesto por blazers oscuros (negros, azules marinos, camel), mientras que en verano me atrevo con blazers de colores más llamativos (todas recordaréis que el año pasado por esta época el color block estaba muy de moda).

Sin embargo, un blazer que no pasa de moda y que yo lo considero un fondo de armario es el de color blanco. Para esta época es perfecto y, aparte de combinar con todo, queda muy elegante.

Así, hoy os quiero mostrar looks con blazer blanco. Veréis que se pueden crear looks tanto formales como informales (con shorts, por ejemplo) con este tipo de blazer.
