HOW TO PAIR BLACK LACE DRESSES IN SPRING

Some days ago I posted this picture on Instagram (@fashionvictimsbcn). I'm wearing a black lace dress paired with a synthetic fur coat. This is the outfit that I chose for a dinner on a Saturday night.

Hace unos días colgué esta foto en Instagram (@fashionvictimsbcn), en la cual llevo un vestido de encaje negro que acompaño solamente con un abrigo de pelo sintético. Es el outfit que escogí para una cena un sábado por la noche.

 

My wardrobe is full of lace garments since I really like them. To me lace is very feminime and sexy. 

 

But I have a problem with black lace dresses because I only wear them at night and I'd like to wear them during the day, too.

 

It's true that this past winter the combo lace dress (especially those lace dresses from Zara) and knit jersey (or jacket) was a hit. We could see many fashion bloggers wearing the same combo.  

 

El encaje está muy presente en mi armario porque me encanta. Me parece muy femenino y sexy.

 

El inconveniente que le veo a los vestidos de encaje negros es que sólo me los pongo por la noche porque por el día me parecen algo extremados.

 

Es cierto que este invierno la combinación vestido de encaje en color oscuro (sobre todos los de Zara) con jersey de lana (o chaqueta) ha sido todo un éxito. Hemos podido ver mil looks de bloggers con la misma mezcla.

However knit is not viable in spring (at least in Barcelona). So I've thinking how to pair my lace dresses to be able to wear them during the day in spring and I've come to the conclusion that they would pair with a military jacket.

 

And as if by coincidence, I've come up with these two inspiring looks:

Así, que he estado pensando cómo combinar mis vestidos de encaje para poder ponérmelos también de día y una de las combinaciones que me ha parecido más acertada es con una chaqueta militar (aprovechando que lo militar va a seguir de moda esta primavera).

I have a military jacket that I bought last year. And I can still remember that once I paired it with a white dress.

Tengo una chaqueta militar del año pasado. Y todavía me acuerdo de cuando la combiné con un vestido blanco. Me encanta cómo queda con vestido para restarle formalidad al look.

So I think I've found the perfect combo for this spring: black lace dress and military jacket, don't you think so?

Por tanto, creo que voy a poder darle más uso a mis vestidos de encaje esta primavera. Tened en cuenta que el encaje va a seguir muy de moda esta temporada y combinado con algo militar es todo un acierto, ¿no creéis?

THE BODY SHOP: BEAUTY LINE

Today I want to show you some of the beauty products from The Body Shop that I'm using these days.

 

Hoy os quiero enseñar algunos productos de maquillaje de The Body Shop que estoy utilizando estos días.

As I have blue eyes, I usually use eye shadows in blue and purple shades.

These days I'm using this carton with 4 purple shades (Price 24 Eur) that is perfect to achieve a smoky eyes effect. The carton contains some instructions for this purpose. It's really easy and the result is awsome!

Como tengo los ojos azules, me gusta destacarlos con sombras en tonos azules o morados.

 

Estos días estoy apostando por este estuche en tonos morados (precio 24 Eur). Además, soy súper fan de los smoky eyes, y precisamente este estuche lleva las 4 sombras que necesito para conseguir ese efecto ahumado. El estuche viene en una caja de cartón donde te indican paso a paso cómo maquillarte los ojos para conseguir este efecto. ¡Es facilísimo y el resultado me encanta!

The eyeliner (Price 9 Eur)intensifies the smoky eyes. It's purple and I really like it.

El perfilador de ojos (precio 9 Eur) intensifica el ahumado de los ojos. Es de color morado y me gusta muchísimo cómo queda en el párpado. 

 

I like to put lipstick on my lips everyday. My favourite shades are reds, browns, and maroons, depending on the day or my clothes.

 

As you can see in the picture below, the lipstick that I'm using the most these days is the one on the left, which has a brown shade.

 

These lipsticks (Price 13 Eur) moisturise the lips very much and so are very easy to apply. 

 





Para los labios, suelo apostar por tonos rojos, marrones o granates, dependiendo del día o de la ropa que lleve.

De los tres que os muestro, está claro que el que más utilizo es el marrón porque me lo pongo a diario para ir al trabajo.

Me gustan mucho estas barras (precio 13 Eur) porque son muy hidratantes y muy fáciles de aplicar.

To provide illumination and shine to the skin I use some powder that is perfect for all skin types.

Para aportar brillo a la piel, me aplico unos polvos que son perfectos para todos los tonos de piel con esta brocha tan suave.

The powder (Price 19 Eur) is made of small golden and pink spheres that give light to the cheeks and neck. I really like using this powder for a final touch.

 

Los polvos (precio 19 Eur) son unas esferas doradas y rosadas que brillan, y aportan luz a las mejillas y el escote. Me gusta mucho utilizarlo como toque final. 

 

 

 

The kabuki brush (Price 19 Eur) is made of synthetic fur and is very soft. It allows to apply the powder in a regular way. The cut of the brush allows to cover and define in an easy way. I love it!!

 

La brocha biselada kabuki (precio 19 Eur) es de pelo sintético ultra suave y se utiliza para aplicar los polvos de forma regular. El corte de la brocha permite cubrir y perfilar con facilidad. ¡¡La verdad es que es una gozada!!

THE PERFECT COMBO: RIPPED JEANS AND LEOPARD SHOES

As recently mentioned on my Instagram profile (@fashionvictimsbcn), one of my favourite combos is ripped and torn jeans with leopard print shoes.

 

Tal y como os decía hace unos días en mi cuenta de Instagram (@fashionvictimsbcn), una de las combinaciones que más me gustan (y que más llevo últimamente) son los vaqueros rotos, que están tanto de moda, con zapatos de leopard print. Y con esta foto os lo demostraba:

I really like ripped jeans and they're perfect for spring (although in Barcelona we are already enjoying very warm temperaturas so I can wear those types of jeans).

Este tipo de vaqueros así todos rotos me encantan y son perfectos de cara a la primavera (aunque en Barcelona ahora ya estamos teniendo temperaturas muy agradables por lo que aprovecho para ponérmelos). Os pongo otra foto para que veáis con más detalle los rotos que lleva.

NEW IN: DRAPED DRESS FROM PULL&BEAR & TEE FROM MANGO

I'm happy to see the new collections of the different brands already in the stores. I can't wait for the spring to come!!

Last week I went shopping and purchased a few garments.

First of all, I show you my new draped dress from Pull&Bear. I really like it. I think it can be paired with two many garments and shoes.

In the photo I wear it as is to show you just the dress. 

This time I paired it with my pair of booties but it can be paired with sneakers as well or even with over the knee boots.

I'm sure I'll wear this dress a lot in spring and summer.

I promise you more looks with it!

Estoy encantada de ver las nuevas colecciones ya en las tiendas. ¡¡Tengo muchas ganas de que llegue la primavera!!

La semana pasada fui de shopping y me compré algunas cositas.

Primero os enseño mi nuevo vestido drapeado de Pull&Bear. ¡¡Me encanta!! Además, creo que tienes muchas opciones.

En la foto lo llevo tal cual es para enseñároslo bien y lo combino simplemente con unos botines, pero también se podría combinar con sneakers o con botas por encima de la rodilla que tanto me gustan.

Estoy segura de que me pondré muchísimo este vestido en primavera y verano.

Os prometo más looks con él.

My second purchase is a tee from Mango. I really like it because of the positive message that we can read in it. I really like this type of tees. In this case, I decided for the tee in a pastel colour as pastel tones are trendy this season.

Mi segunda compra es una camiseta de Mango con mensaje. ¡¡Este tipo de camisetas me encantan!! En este caso, la elegí en un tono pastel porque estos tonos vienen con fuerza esta primavera.

WELCOME BACK, ADIDAS STAN SMITH

Since last year the sporty trend was a sensation among the fashionists, sneakers have become a must-have. Converse, New Balance, Superga, Vans... I really like them because they are very comfortable.  

Honestly I'm a bit tired of seeing so many looks with stilettos. Although I really like them (and they are the best option for some occasions), I prefer to try different styles to avoid being too formal.   

So after work, usually I wear my sneakers to go shopping or to go on errands.

So as in fashion it seems that it all comes back, now the Adidas Stan Smith are the latest trend. These sneakers became really famous on the 80's thanks to the former tennis player, Stan Smith, who surprised everybody when he started playing tennis with these types of sneakers by Adidas.

Desde que el año pasado la sporty trend causó furor, no han parado de salir zapatillas de deporte o más conocidas como sneakers: Converse, New Balance, Superga, Vans... Y la verdad es que yo estoy encantada porque son comodísimas.

Además, si os soy sincera, me cansa ver tantos looks con stilettos. Es cierto que me gustan y mucho (y son el calzado más adecuado en ciertas ocasiones), pero prefiero variar un poco y no ir siempre tan 'puesta'.

Así, cuando salgo del trabajo y voy de shopping o a hacer algún recado, me quito los tacones y me calzo mis sneakers que son unas New Balance. En mi instagram (@fashionvictimsbcn) tenéis algún look con ellas.

Pero, como parece que en la moda todo vuelve, ahora las Adidas Stan Smith son la última tendencia. Estas zapatillas fueron lo más en los años '80 gracias al ex tenista norteamericano, Stan Smith, que sorprendió a todos cuando salió a jugar a tenis con este tipo de zapatillas Adidas.

 As you can see in the pictures, the sneakers come in 3 different colours: blue, green and red. And the small holes on the side refer to the 3 lines of the classical Adidas logo.

 

The sneakers cost approx. 95 Eur.

 

Gisele Bündchen dared to where them without almost any clothes for an add. Of course she can do it!! ;)

 

Como veis en las fotos, las zapatillas vienen en 3 colores diferentes: azul, verde y rojo. Y los puntitos que llevan en el lateral hacen referencia a las 3 rayas del logo clásico de Adidas.

Su precio son aprox. 95 Eur.

Gisele Bündchen se atrevió a lucirlas casi sin nada más para un anuncio porque, claro, ella puede!! ;)

I really like them and for this summer they are a good option. As they're white and simple they pair with everything. I'm already imagining them paired with a leather skirt or with short. I want them!!

 

A mí la verdad es que me encantan y, de cara al verano, son una muy buena opción. Al ser blancas y sencillitas quedan bien con todo. Ya me las estoy imaginando con una mini de cuero o con shorts. ¡¡Las quiero!!
