TREND ALERT: OFF THE SHOULDER TOPS

If some days ago I talked to you about the tops with some details on the back, today I would like to talk to you about another types of tops that I love for summer.

It's about the off the shoulder tops. In the picture below you'll see Miroslava Duma wearing an amazing blue off the shoulder top.

Si hace unos días os hablaba de los tops con la espalda al descubierto, hoy os voy a hablar de otro tipo de tops que también me encantan para el verano.

Se trata de los tops con los hombros al descubierto. Y para muestra el que luce Miroslava Duma:

But Miroslava Duma is not the only celebrity who has worn a top of that style. I still can remember seeing Taylor Tomasi Hill attending a fashion show wearing a stunning off the shoulder top.

Pero Miroslava Duma no es la única celebrity que ha lucido este tipo de tops, sino que también recuerdo a Taylor Tomasi Hill acudiendo a un desfile de moda con un top que cautivó mi atención.

Blogger Leandra Medine from Man Repeller worn the same top as Taylor Tomasi Hill. Lucky woman!!

La blogger Leandra Medine de Man Repeller también tuvo la oportunidad de llevar el mismo top que Taylor Tomasi Hill. Qué suerte tienen algunas!!

And also she worn the same top as Miroslava Duma but in green.

Y también el de Miroslava Duma pero en color verde.

I guess you will remember the campaign of the the spring-summer /14 collection of H&M starred by Miranda Kerr. One of the pictures that called my attention was the following:

Supongo que recordaréis la campaña de la colección primavera-verano '14 de H&M de la mano de Miranda Kerr. Una de las fotografías que más captó mi atención fue ésta:

I really liked the top, however I couldn't find it at any store. :(

HOW TO WEAR A SHIRT DRESS

Some days ago I saw some pictures of Leandra Medine from Man Repeller that called my attention.

The truth is that this girl, apart from being so cheerful and funny, has a very odd style that I really like. She dares to pair garments with different prints and the result is just awesome.

So, as I was telling you, the other day I saw some pictures of Leandra wearing a white shirt dress with the sleeves up, a pair of nice high heel sandals and a golden necklace. The result... perfect!!

Judge for yourselves:

Hace unos días vi unas imágenes de Leandra Medine de Man Repeller que me llamaron mucho la atención. La verdad es que esta chica, aparte de ser muy divertida, tiene un estilo muy peculiar porque se atreve a combinar prendas de estampados totalmente diferentes. Pero, claro, ella se lo puede permitir porque tiene esa gracia para lucir esos outfits tan fuera de lo común.

A lo que iba, las imágenes mostraban a Leandra luciendo un vestido camisero blanco con las mangas remangadas. Se calzó unas sandalias con taconazo y un collar en dorado. El resultado... perfecto!! Juzgad vosotras mismas:

I'm not sure whether I would dare to wear this garment or not. Probably I would wear a pair of shorts under the shirt dress. But the truth is that I love how she wears it.

She's not the only one who wears this piece:

En Pull&Bear hay un vestido camisero vaquero por 29,99 Eur (aunque, a juzgar por las fotos de la web, no me acaba de gustar).

The designer Alexander Wang has launched his own version of the shirt dress. It's about a set of a blue masculine shirt with the cuffs and neck in white and a pair of shorts that match with the shirt.  

Por su parte, Alexander Wang ha hecho su propia versión del vestido camisero. Se trata básicamente de una camisa masculina en azul con los puños y el cuello de color blanco. Pero la gracia es que la camisa lleva a juego unos shorts de tela del mismo color de la camisa.

And here below the version in pastel pink, all in the same color, and with short sleeves by Alexander Wang, too.

Y aquí la versión en rosa pastel, sin los puños y el cuello en blanco y de manga corta, también de Alexander Wang.

HOW TO DRESS TO ATTEND SUMMER FESTIVALS

As you may know Coachella's festival was held some days ago in Los Angeles.

Many celebrities gather together year after year there to have fun. I really like to see the looks chosen by them for these fun days.

The Coachella festival made me think of the festivals that will be celebrated this summer in too many cities.

The style that prevails the most in this type of festivals is the ethnic, boho chic or folk (I don't really know how to call it). I really like this trend and I can tell you that is going to be a kick this summer, yeahhhh!

Como seguramente ya sabréis, el festival Coachella tuvo lugar hace unos días en Los Ángeles.

Muchísimas celebrities se reúnen allí año tras año para divertirse y a mí me encanta ver los looks que escogen para esos días de juerga.

Coachella me hizo pensar en los festivales que se van a celebrar este verano en muchas ciudades.

El estilo que predomina en este tipo de festivales es el estilo que está tanto de moda esta primavera (y que va a seguir en verano) y que a mí me encanta. Es una mezcla de ethnic, boho, folk o como lo queráis llamar.

As in summer is too hot, you should protect the skin of your face from the sun. So I would suggest you to wear a kind of cowboy hat or a sun hat.

Durante el día, en estos festivales hace mucho calor así que lo mejor es protegerse la piel de la cara con un sombrero tipo cowboy o una pamela.

FLORAL CROWNS / CORONA DE FLORES

PAISLEY PRINT / ESTAMPADO PAISLEY

Although at first this print was definitively not for me, now I can say that I like it. Paisley tops, skirts or dresses are ideal for a gipsy outfit (I just found another way to name this trend!).
