THE BODY SHOP: BEAUTY LINE

Today I want to show you some of the beauty products from The Body Shop that I'm using these days.

 

Hoy os quiero enseñar algunos productos de maquillaje de The Body Shop que estoy utilizando estos días.

As I have blue eyes, I usually use eye shadows in blue and purple shades.

These days I'm using this carton with 4 purple shades (Price 24 Eur) that is perfect to achieve a smoky eyes effect. The carton contains some instructions for this purpose. It's really easy and the result is awsome!

Como tengo los ojos azules, me gusta destacarlos con sombras en tonos azules o morados.

 

Estos días estoy apostando por este estuche en tonos morados (precio 24 Eur). Además, soy súper fan de los smoky eyes, y precisamente este estuche lleva las 4 sombras que necesito para conseguir ese efecto ahumado. El estuche viene en una caja de cartón donde te indican paso a paso cómo maquillarte los ojos para conseguir este efecto. ¡Es facilísimo y el resultado me encanta!

The eyeliner (Price 9 Eur)intensifies the smoky eyes. It's purple and I really like it.

El perfilador de ojos (precio 9 Eur) intensifica el ahumado de los ojos. Es de color morado y me gusta muchísimo cómo queda en el párpado. 

 

I like to put lipstick on my lips everyday. My favourite shades are reds, browns, and maroons, depending on the day or my clothes.

 

As you can see in the picture below, the lipstick that I'm using the most these days is the one on the left, which has a brown shade.

 

These lipsticks (Price 13 Eur) moisturise the lips very much and so are very easy to apply. 

 





Para los labios, suelo apostar por tonos rojos, marrones o granates, dependiendo del día o de la ropa que lleve.

De los tres que os muestro, está claro que el que más utilizo es el marrón porque me lo pongo a diario para ir al trabajo.

Me gustan mucho estas barras (precio 13 Eur) porque son muy hidratantes y muy fáciles de aplicar.

To provide illumination and shine to the skin I use some powder that is perfect for all skin types.

Para aportar brillo a la piel, me aplico unos polvos que son perfectos para todos los tonos de piel con esta brocha tan suave.

The powder (Price 19 Eur) is made of small golden and pink spheres that give light to the cheeks and neck. I really like using this powder for a final touch.

 

Los polvos (precio 19 Eur) son unas esferas doradas y rosadas que brillan, y aportan luz a las mejillas y el escote. Me gusta mucho utilizarlo como toque final. 

 

 

 

The kabuki brush (Price 19 Eur) is made of synthetic fur and is very soft. It allows to apply the powder in a regular way. The cut of the brush allows to cover and define in an easy way. I love it!!

 

La brocha biselada kabuki (precio 19 Eur) es de pelo sintético ultra suave y se utiliza para aplicar los polvos de forma regular. El corte de la brocha permite cubrir y perfilar con facilidad. ¡¡La verdad es que es una gozada!!

THE BODY SHOP: BRAZIL NUT

The Body Shop has launched a new line based on the Brazil nut.

 

So this collection is made up of pure oil extracted from nuts from Brazil that provide high levels of hydration and a great scent.

 

Some products of the line that I have tried are:

 

The Body Shop ha lanzado una nueva línea con productos que tienen como ingrediente estrella la nuez de Brasil.

 

Como seguramente ya sabréis, la nuez de Brasil aporta mucha hidratación evitando la sequedad y deja la piel súper suave. Además, tiene un olor espectacular.

 

La línea está compuesta de varios productos, pero yo sólo os voy a hablar de los que he tenido el gusto de probar: 

 

  

Brazil nut Body scrub  (13 Eur): a creamy scrub that stimulates the microcirculation of the skin. After using it the skin remains really soft and with a great scent!! I use it once per week. I think this is one of the best products of the line. I really like it!  

 

Exfoliante corporal nuez de Brasil (13 Eur): es un exfoliante cremoso que estimula la microcirculación de la piel dejándola súper suave y con un olor muy agradable. Lo utilizo una vez por semana y los resultados son increíbles. Es uno de los productos que más me gusta de la línea.

 



Brazil nut Body butter  (15 Eur): as I've told you too many times, I'm a totally fan of the butters by The Body Shop. The Brazil nut butter is obviously a great butter that provides softness to skin plus a great scent. I strongly recommend that you try it!!

Manteca corporal nuez de Brasil (15 Eur): como ya he comentado varias veces, soy una incondicional de las mantecas de The Body Shop. Ésta, como era de esperar, también me ha encantado por lo buenos resultados que da y por su buen olor. Os invito a que la probéis, de verdad. ¡No os decepcionará!

Brazil nut eau de cologne (30 ml, 12 Eur): it has the same scent as all the products of the line so I really like it.

Agua de colonia nuez de Brasil (30 ml, 12 Eur): tiene el mismo aroma que todos los productos de la línea, así que me encanta.

Brazil nut soap (4 Eur): as hands are very important and we must take good care of them, The Body Shop has launched this hands soap that cleans and moisturizes the hands, which remain really soft and with a great scent after using it.

Jabón nuez de Brasil (4 Eur): como el cuidado de las manos también es muy importante, The Body Shop ha lanzado este jabón de manos que limpia, hidrata y deja las manos con un aroma muy agradable. Si ya soy mucho de lavarme las manos, desde que este jabón me las lavo aún más ;)

COOL BB CREAM BY THE BODY SHOP

The Body Shop has launched the Cool BB Cream that belongs to their Vitamin E line. This cream lights up and balances the skin. It also hides small imperfections that we may have so as I result the skin remains radiant. 

The cream is enriched with wheat germ oil, one of the richest sources of vitamin E. 

The Body Shop ha lanzado la Cool BB Cream perteneciente a su línea Vitamina E. Esta crema ilumina, equilibra y corrige las imperfecciones para conseguir un aspecto radiante. 

La crema está enriquecida con aceite de germen de trigo, una de las fuentes más ricas de vitamina E. 

What caught my eye most about this cream was its runny consistency so it makes easier its application  Also the skin absorbs easily the cream so this is a good point to me.

The cream comes in an only shade, which matches with my skin colour. 

As you can see in the picture below, it's not noticeable that I have applied the cream on my hand, as the shade is very similar to my skin's shade. On the other hand, it's noticeable that the skin of my hand where the cream has been applied is softer, clearer and with a better appearance. 

Lo que más me llamó la atención de la crema fue su textura superligera que se aplica fácilmente y la piel la absorbe rápidamente.

Además, el tono de la crema (se presenta en un único tono) va muy bien con mi color de piel, así que queda muy difuminado como si se tratara de una crema sin color.

Como veis en la imagen de abajo, no se aprecia apenas que lleve crema en la mano, puesto que queda del mismo tono que mi piel. Eso sí, más lisa, luminosa y con mejor aspecto.   

The cream is suitable for all types of skin and has costs approx. 13 Eur (50 ml).

MY MUST-HAVE FOR THE SUMMER

Today I want to talk to you about my must-have beauty products for the summer. You know that we have to put special attention on our skin to protect it against the sun. 

Basically my must-have products are the following:
 
Hoy os quiero hablar de mis productos de belleza imprescindibles para el cuidado de mi piel durante el verano. Ya sabéis que el sol hay que tomarlo con precaución y que debemos cuidar mucho nuestra piel en esta época del año para calmarla de las largas exposiciones al sol e hidratarla adecuadamente.

Básicamente mis imprescindibles son los siguientes:

• Vitamine E moisture cream: a rich and nourishing cream that moisturizes the skin and protects it from the free radicals. Its texture is a bit oily but the skin absorbs it quickly. I really like its scent.

  Crema hidratante de día: una crema rica y nutritiva que proporciona una gran hidratación a la piel y la protege de los radicales libres. Su textura es un poco untuosa pero la piel la absorbe rápidamente, por lo que no queda con brillos. Me gusta mucho el olor que tiene y lo suave que es.

• Aloe soothing night cream: it moisturizes the skin during the whole night. It contains aloe vera for a soothing and refreshing effect. I like the aspect of my skin the next morning after applying this night cream. It's an oily texture so it's enough with applying just a small quantity.

           
    Crema de noche de aloe: aporta una hidratación extra durante la noche. Además, contiene aloe vera para un efecto calmante y refrescante. Me gusta mucho el aspecto de mi piel a la mañana siguiente tras dejarla actuar durante toda la noche. Además, al ser de textura untuosa basta con aplicar una pequeña cantidad de crema por lo que cunde bastante.

•  Spray facial vitamine C: a facial spray that refreshes, moisturizes and soothes the skin immediately. It clears the tired skins and give brightness. It also has a citrus scent that I love. Usually I take it with me inside the bag and spray it on my face several times during the day. 

         
    Spray facial de vitamina C: un spray facial que refresca, hidrata y suaviza al momento. Descongestiona las pieles cansadas y aporta luminosidad. Además, tiene un olor a cítrico que me encanta. Suelo llevarlo en el bolso para aplicármelo varias veces al día.

•  Dragon fruit lip butter: it moisturizes and soothes the lips. It has a very pleasant scent. And the best is that per each sale of this lip butter, The Body Shop will give the 100% of the profits to a charital association choosen by you.

   Manteca labial de fruta de dragón: aporta una hidratación increíble a los labios dejándolos muy suaves. Además, tiene un aroma muy agradable. • Bronze honey powder: for applying smoothly on the cheeks and the neckline to give a natural brightness. It has a brush so it's very easy to apply.

           

    Polvos irisados honey bronze: para aplicar suavemente en las mejillas y en el escote para dar resplandor natural y saludable. Se aplica fácilmente mediante un pincel que contiene partículas reflectantes de luz.

• Mango body mist: I like to perfume my skin with this mist to refresh it with such a fresh scent. 

         
Perfume con sabor a mango: me gusta perfumar mi piel con este perfume tan fresco y de tan agradable olor.

THE BODY SHOP: CHOCOMANÍA

The Body Shop has launched a new bath and body line called Chocomanía.

This new line is composed by 6 products: body butter (which contains an exclusive formulation of 12 ingredientes of Fair Trade coming from the different countries all around the world), body scrub, body lotion, lip butter, shower cream and a set of mini soap bars. 

The Body Shop ha lanzado una nueva línea de baño y cuerpo llamada Chocomanía.

Esta nueva línea está compuesta por 6 productos: manteca corporal (que contiene una exclusiva fórmula de 12 ingredientes de Comercio Justo provenientes de todo el mundo), exfoliante corporal, loción corporal, manteca labial, gel de ducha y un set de mini jabones.

Lip butter (10 ml / 5 Eur): a creamy texture that leaves the lips very soft. I adore its delicious aroma, sometimes I wish I could eat it ;)

Body lotion (250 ml / 9 Eur): a very  light texture that leaves the skin very soft and with a pleasent scent.

THE BODY SHOP: THE EXPERIENCE

Last week The Body Shop called some bloggers to present us their new perfume White Musk Libertine as well as all their make-up and cosmetics lines, and their latest collections and limited editions for the Christmas season.

White Musk Libertine is a sensual, sweet and feminine perfume perfect for all free, daren and independent women. It contains unique floral notes, different types of musk and Turkish essences. It's now my new perfume and I love it. I highly recommend it. Try it and you will love it, also your boyfriends ;)

La semana pasada The Body Shop nos convocó a varias bloggers para presentarnos su nuevo perfume White Musk Libertine, así como todas sus líneas, tanto de maquillaje como de cosmética, y sus nuevas colecciones y ediciones limitadas de cara a estas Navidades.

White Musk Libertine es un perfume sensual, dulce y femenino pensado para todas las mujeres libres, atrevidas, independientes, con personalidad y seguras de sí mismas. Contiene notas florales únicas, diferentes tipos de almizcle y esencias turcas. Ya se ha convertido en mi nuevo perfume y estoy encantada. Os recomiendo sinceramente que lo probéis porque estoy segura de que os gustará a vosotras y a vuestros chicos ;) 

Raúl, the make-up artist, taught us to make ourselves up specially for this Christmas. Nukunuku was 'the model' for this make-up session. For the eyes Raúl used a pack that The Body Shop has launched composed by 4 shades in brown and gold, including also a brush and an eyeliner, which is perfect to create the
smoky eyes effect that I like so much. The result was an awesome look! The pack is also in a silver version.

For the make-up Raúl used products that belong to the collection Extra Virgin Minerals, which are 100% mineral. This is the first mineral make-up collection that includes fair-trade with communities ingredients. Each non irritant formula is free of fragance and parabens and it's suitable for all kind of skins.

Raúl, el maquillador de la firma, nos dio una clase magistral de cómo maquillarnos especialmente para estas fiestas. Nukunuku fue 'la modelo' que se prestó para la sesión de maquillaje. Para los ojos utilizó un estuche que The Body Shop ha lanzado para estas navidades que consta de 4 sombras en tonos marrón y dorado, con el pincel para aplicar el producto y un lápiz de ojos. Este estuche de bonita presentación es perfecto para crear los ojos ahumados que tanto me gustan. ¡¡El resultado conseguido en 'la modelo' fue una mirada espectacular!! Este pack también está disponible en la versión plateado, ambas versiones me parecen ideales para las fiestas navideñas o algún evento especial.

Para el maquillaje de la cara se utilizaron productos de la colección Extra Virgin Minerals, que son 100% mineral. Ésta es la primera colección de maquillaje que contiene ingredientes de Comercio Justo con Comunidades. During the event, Marisa, the responsible person of the meeting, showed us the different lines that The Body Shop has for both men and women depending on our skin type, our age and so. She also showed us specific products in case we want to illuminate our skin, for example.

It's worth mentioning that the politics of The Body Shop is protecting the environment so they use sustainable products and they don't test in animals (their brushes don't contain animal hair).  

Durante el evento, Marisa, responsable del encuentro, nos enseñó todas las líneas faciales que The Body Shop tiene para cada uno de nosotros (disponen de líneas también para ellos) dependiendo de nuestro tipo de piel, edad, etc. También nos enseñó los productos específicos si deseamos iluminar o vitaminar nuestro cutis, por ejemplo.

Cabe mencionar y resaltar que The Body Shop tiene como política proteger el medio ambiente, por ello, utiliza productos sostenibles y, además, no testa en animales (todas sus brochas están 100% libres de pelo animal).

She also showed us the whole make-up line.

También nos mostró la línea entera de maquillaje.

As you may know, one of the main products of The Body Shop are the butters. If you haven't tried them yet, I invite you to do it. The butters moisturize more than the conventional creams and they smell very well (there are available different perfumes).

Como sabréis, uno de los productos estrella de The Body Shop son las mantecas. Si aún no las habéis probado, no sabéis lo que os estáis perdiendo ;) Hidratan muchísimo la piel y, además, huelen increíblemente bien (disponen de diferentes olores), tanto que dan ganas de comérselas ;)

And finally we had a look at the special packs and limited editions for this Christmas, which are perfect to give as a present.  

Y, por último, nos enseñaron los packs especiales y ediciones limintadas para estas Navidades que son perfectos para regalar.
