Backless dresses are in fashion this season. I really like them!

Los vestidos backless o, lo que es lo mismo, los vestidos con la espalda al descubierto están pegando fuerte esta temporada. Y a mí me encantan.

PAISLEY DRESS BY MANGO

Some time ago I purchased this paisley dress by Mango that belongs to the spring summer collection '14. 

As these Easter holidays were very sunny (at least in the north of Spain where I spent a few days), I could finally wear it. 

I decided to pair the dress with a kind of cowboy brown boots and a brown belt.
 
Hace ya algún tiempo que me compré este vestido de paisley de Mango de la colección primavera verano '14. Sin embargo, no lo he podido estrenar hasta estas vacaciones de Semana Santa que ya, por fin, ha hecho tiempo de verano (al menos en Galicia donde pasé unos días). 


El vestido es un tanto informal y, por los tonos tierra que tiene, decidí combinarlo con unas botas marrones tipo cowboy y un cinturón también marrón.

NEW TREND: LINGERIE-STYLE ITEMS

One of the hottest trends this season are lingerie style items. 

Una de las tencencias más sexis de esta temporada son las prendas lenceras.

The truth is that I've always liked these types of garments. They're perfect for any type of event for both night and day. 

For example, for a formal event I would chose a black lingerie-style dress as they are very sexy and elegant. I would pair the dress with a blazer, a pair of nice stilettos and a clutch. Or I would replace the blazer by a leather jacket or perfecto to give a rocker touch to the look. 

A mí la verdad es que siempre me han gustado este tipo de prendas. Me parecen muy adecuadas para cualquier tipo de evento tanto de noche como de día.

Por ejemplo, para un evento formal de noche, elegiría un vestido lencero negro. Me parecen muy sexis y elegantes. El vestido lo combinaría con un blazer, unos salones y clutch. O, si queréis darle un aire menos formal, cambiaría el blazer por una chaqueta de piel o perfecto.

For an envent during the day, lingerie-style items are also appropiate. But I would choose them in a cream or white colour, or also combining two different colours.

For example, Sara from Collage vintage wore a white lingerie-style dress with brown shoes and brown bag. 

Para un evento de día, las prendas lenceras también son adecuadas. Pero mejor en un color crema o blanco roto, o combinando dos colores.

MAXI DRESSES

Although maxi dresses don't fit me really well, they are a good option for summer as they are very comfortable and chilly.

 

There are different ways of wearing them. Maybe my favourite one is pairing them with flat sandals although, as you can see in the pictures below, with high-heels sandals they also match pretty well. 

Aunque a mí no me quedan bien, los maxi dresses son una opción muy acertada para el verano porque, aparte de ser cómodos, son muy fresquitos.

 

Hay varias maneras de combinarlos. Quizá mi favorita sea con sandalia plana aunque, como veréis en las fotos, con una sandalia con un poquito de tacón tampoco quedan nada mal.
