HAIR TREND: FLORAL CROWNS

One of the trendy accessories for the hair are floral crowns.

 

Normally these types of adornments are seen in looks for weedings, communions and formal events.

A recent example is the weeding between Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo where the bride wore a dress by Missoni and for the hair chose a floral crown.

Uno de los accesorios para el cabello que está muy de moda últimamente son las coronas de flores.

Normalmente, estos adornos los hemos podido ver en bodas, comuniones y eventos formales. Un ejemplo reciente es la boda de Andrea Casiraghi y Tatiana Santo Domingo donde la novia lució un vestido de Missoni y para el cabello optó por una corona de flores.

However now you can wear this types of accessories for the hair in your daily looks.

 

The truth is that I really like this trend, especially if the floral crown is thin and not too bright. However I still don't have mine, and I don't really know if I'll purchase one because I don't know when to wear it, neither if I would dare to wear it.

 

But I do like seeing bloggers wearing a floral crown.



Sin embargo, ahora también puedes utilizar este tipo de accesorios para el cabello en tu día a día.

 

A mí la verdad es una moda que me gusta, sobre todo, si la corona de flores es finita y no muy llamativa. De todas formas, no me he hecho con ninguna porque, sinceramente, no sé cuándo me la pondría y tampoco sé si me atrevería a llevarla. Eso sí, me gusta mucho ver a algunas bloggers con looks street style en los que incorporan este tipo de adornos florales para el cabello.

SHU UEMURA AT BACKSTAGE BCN

Some days ago I had the pleasure to meet, thanks to Backstage hairdresser's in Barcelona (Avda. Diagonal, 624) the new service from the Japan brand, Shu Uemura, that has finally arrived in Barcelona with the hair line Art of Hair.

This new service offers a personalized refined treatment based on massage techniques, shiatsu and products that can be adapted to each type of hair. This new concept is inspired by the traditional tea ceremony what means that the treatment is done under a relaxing atmosphere.

Hace unos días tuve el placer de conocer, de la mano de la peluquería Backstage de Barcelona (Avda. Diagonal, 624), el nuevo servicio de la marca japonesa, Shu Uemura, que por fin ha llegado a Barcelona con su línea capilar Art of Hair.

Este nuevo servicio consiste en ofrecer al cabello un tratamiento refinado a medida, basado en técnicas de masaje, shiatsu y productos que se adaptan a cada tipo de cabello. Este nuevo concepto está inspirado en la tradicional ceremonia del té, lo que significa que todo se realiza en una atmósfera muy relajante y tomándose el tiempo necesario para que el tratamiento sea efectivo.

All the products of the line are made from oils (rosehip, camellia, argan or black cumin) because each one has its own role depending on the result that we want to achieve (providing shine to the hair, nourishing it, repairing it or controlling it).

Todos los productos de la línea son a base de aceites como el de rosa mosqueta, el de camelia, el de argán o el de comino negro porque cada uno tiene su función según el resultado que queramos conseguir (darle brillo al cabello, nutrirlo, repararlo o disciplinarlo).

Besides, the products can be mixed among themselves. So as you can see it's a totally new hairdresser's concept.

Además, los productos se pueden mezclar entre sí e, incluso, superponer en varias capas. Como veis, es un concepto de peluquería totalmente diferente a lo que estábamos acostumbrados.

In my case Héctor applied me products of the Full Shimmer line to give shine to the hair. Also, he ended up the treatment with just a few drops of Essence Absolue, a camellia oil, for a very smooth and shiny finish. The truth is that after only one application my hair was thiner and smoother with an awesome shine.

En mi caso, Héctor me aplicó productos de la línea Full Shimmer para darle brillo al cabello. Además, finalizó el tratamiento con unas gotas del aceite Essence Absolue que contiene aceite de camelia para un acabado ultra ligero y brillante. La verdad es que, en tan sólo una aplicación, noté un cabello mucho más fino y suave, y con un brillo espectacular.

 

I highly recommend that you enjoy this experience because you'll see the results after the first application. Also, you'll leave the hairdresser's very relaxed and calm, after the massages on the scalp and back of the neck that you'll receive. If you prefer you can also get the products of the line in the hairdresser's to apply them at home.

Os recomiendo que disfrutéis de esta experiencia porque veréis los resultados desde la primera aplicación. Además, saldréis de la peluquería muy relajados tras el masaje que os harán en el cuero cabelludo y en la nuca. Si preferís, también podéis comprar los productos de la línea en la peluquería y utilizarlos en casa.

BELLISSIMA & LLONGUERAS

Some days ago I attended the presentation of two new utensils from Bellissima to care for our hair. The master of ceremonies was the well-know hairdresser, Lluís Llongueras, who knows a lot about how to care for our hair.

Hace unos días asistí a la presentación de dos nuevos utensilios de la marca Bellissima para cuidar y facilitarnos el peinado del cabello. El maestro de ceremonias era el mismísimo Lluís Llongueras porque ¿quién mejor que él para asesorarnos y darnos consejos sobre el cuidado del cabello?

The first product that was presented was the new electrical brush called Magic Style that straightens and styles the hair. It's easy-to-use with only one hand. Also, it's very comfortable and the results appear after the first application. It comes in 3 different sizes (30, 38 and 45 mm) depending on the quantity of hair that we have and its length. The price is 29,90 Eur, which is a bargain! 

El primer producto que nos presentaron fue el novedoso cepillo eléctrico Magic Style que alisa y moldea el cabello. Lo que me gustó fue que es muy manejable y que se puede usar sólo con una mano dejando la otra libre. Es muy cómodo y los resultados se consiguen con una sola pasada. Está disponible en 3 tamaños (de 30, 38 y 45 mm) según nuestra cantidad de cabello y su longitud. Su precio es de 29,90 eur, ¡una verdadera ganga!

The second product is Styler multirizos Magic Volum, an easy-to-use curler that allows us to do curls or waves as we desire (set curls, bigger or smaller waves, etc.). The price is 49,90 Eur.

El segundo producto es el llamado Styler multirizos Magic Volum, un rizador facilísimo de utilizar que nos permite hacer rizos u ondas como queramos (más marcados, más sueltos, más grandes, más pequeños, etc.) para dar más volumen al cabello. Su precio es de 49,90 Eur.

All the attendance had our hair done and the truth is that we were very happy with the results. Also, we had the opportunity to try the products and we checked that they don't damage the hair (it's not necessary to use a thermal protection). Besides, the handle of the utensils is really easy and comfortable. Now there is no excuse to have a healthy care and with a different hairstyle everyday.

Nos peinaron a todas y la verdad es que quedamos contentísimas con los resultados. Además, pudimos probar nosotras mismas los utensilios y comprobamos que no dañan el pelo (no hace falta ponerse protector térmico antes de utilizarlos) y que su manejo es realmente fácil y cómodo. A partir de ahora ya no hay excusa para lucir un pelo sano y con un peinado diferente cada día. 



We actually had a very good time during the presentation where we had the chance to chat away with Llongueras and his team.

Fue una presentación muy divertida en la que tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar animadamente con Llongueras y su equipo.
