CHANEL ESPADRILLES

Last summer I told you that espadrilles were trendy (to see the post click here). At that moment I had a feeling that this year espadrilles would become even more fashionable. And I was right...

However, those that are creating a buzz within the blogosphere are the ones from Chanel.

El verano pasado ya os anuncié que las alpargatas estaban de moda (para ver el post clica aquí). Ya por aquel entonces intuía que este año se llevarían con más fuerza aún. Y estaba en lo cierto...

Sin embargo, las que más están dando de qué hablar por la blogosfera son las alpargatas de Chanel. 

I'm pretty sure that you have seen several bloggers wearing the Chanel espadrilles in different colours. As you'll see in the pictures, they're ideal for basic and fresh looks, but with a chic touch.

Seguramente habréis visto a muchas bloggers luciendo estas alpargatas en diferentes colores. Como veréis en las fotos, son ideales para looks básicos y frescos, pero con un toque chic.

The Chanel cotton espadrille was introduced last summer. This season, the brand has extended the popular and functionable shoe lineup with the addition of a leather tip and a mesh body. The price is aprox. 400 Eur, a bit more than the cotton espadrilles, which have a cost of approx. 300 Eur. The problem is that they are mostly all sold out.

Chanel lanzó las alpargatas de algodón el verano pasado. Esta temporada la marca ha ampliado su colección con un modelo en piel en la punta de la alpargata y el resto de malla (como las que luce Julie en las fotos). El coste es de 400 Eur, algo más que el precio de la de algodón que ronda los 300 Eur. El problema es que están casi agotadas.

CHANEL SPRING 2012

Chanel has launched the spring beauty collection, which includes the brand new nail colours. Pretty pastels to pair with all the new season garments.

Chanel ha lanzado la colección de belleza para esta primavera que incluye los nuevos colores de uñas. Los colores que nos propone la firma son en tonos pastel, ideales para combinarlos con nuestras prendas de la temporada. 

For the eye shades and lips, a floral palette is clearly evident with soft pinks and lilacs.

Para las sombras de ojos y labios, nos encontramos con una paleta claramente florar con rosas y lilas suaves.

BLAKE LIVELY FOR CHANEL IS CONFIRMED!

Some days ago I posted about the rumours of Blake Lively as the new face of Chanel (to see the post just click here).

Now the rumours have been confirmed.

The truth is that for me Blake Lively isn't the kind of actress I'd immediately identify with Chanel, although she's been wearing lots of Chanel dresses on the red carpet recently.

The campaign will be ready at the beginning of 2011. I can't wait to see the photos!!

Hace unos días os comentaba los rumores de Blake Lively podría ser la nueva imagen de Chanel (para ver el post clicad aquí).

Los rumores ya se han confirmado y podremos ver a Blake Lively en las fotos de la nueva campaña de Chanel que estará lista a principios de 2011.

La verdad es que para mí Blake Lively no es el tipo de actriz que identificaría inmediatamente con Chanel, aunque la hemos podido ver luciendo varios vestidos de la firma en la alfombra roja.

Ya veremos las fotos de la campaña, aunque a mí la Gossip Girl no me convence.

BLAKE LIVELY NEW FACE OF CHANEL?

Rumours say that Blake Lively will become the new face of Chanel.

It seems that the Gossip Girl, who has worn several Chanel on the red carpet over the last year, was photographed in Paris by Karl Lagerfeld last month.

If the rumour is true, Blake Lively will join the cast of actors and models who have also been the face of products of the fashion maison, such as Keira Knightely, face of the Coco Mademoiselle perfume, Vanessa Paradis, face of the lipstick rouge of the brand or Audrey Tautou, star of the new perfume Chanel nº5.

Se rumorea que Blake Lively será la nueva imagen de Chanel.

Parece que la Gossip Girl, que ha lucido varios Chanel en la alfombra roja este año, fue fotografiada en París por Karl Lagerfeld el mes pasado.

Si la noticia se confirma, Blake Lively se integrará en el repertorio de actrices y modelos que también han prestado su imagen a otros productos y líneas de la casa de moda, tales como Keira Knightley, imagen del perfume Coco Mademoiselle, Vanessa Paradis, pone cara y labios al pintalabios rouge de la casa o Audrey Tautou, protagonista del nuevo perfume de Chanel nº5.

CHANEL: GOLD SHANGAI

Karl Lagerfeld took inspiration from Shangai for his last collection as you may know.

Following this line, Peter Phillips, Chanel Makeup's creative manager, presented his collection inspired in the Chinese city as well.

The collection is called Extrem Orient and it's based on the contrast between black and gold.

The line features interesting creations like gold eyeshadow with exaggerated eyeliner and a gold and black mix on the nails.

Do you like the result?

Karl Lagerfeld se inspiró en Shangai para su última colección.

Siguiento esta línea, Peter Phillips, director creativo de Chanel Makeup, presentó su colección inspirada también en la ciudad china.

La colección se llama Extrem Orient y se basa en el contraste entre el negro y el dorado.

La línea apuesta por párpados dorados con un eyeliner exagerado, así como uñas combinadas en negro y dorado.

Karl Lagerfeld is very aware of the climate change, so he wanted to capture this issue, with a sense of humour, in the fall/winter 2010 collection by Chanel.

If we take a look at the details of the collection, we can see rocky jewelry, glacier night dresses, almost stalactites as well as synthetic fur.

What do you think about it? Do you like this kind of details?

Karl Lagerfeld está muy concienciado con el cambio climático, así que ha querido plasmar todo esto, con sentido del humor, en su colección otoño/invierno 2010 para Chanel.

Si nos fijamos en los detalles de la colección, veremos joyas rocosas, vestidos para noches glaciares, casi estalactitas, así como pieles sintéticas.
