VALENTINO ROCK STUDS PUMPS

Lately I've been seeing too many street style looks with the famous studs sandals from Valentino, although they don't belong to the latest collection from the designer. I'm talking about the Rock Studs pumps. 

 

At the beginning I didn't like them much, but after seeing them on several fashion blogs and also on too many celebrities, such as Giovanna Battaglia, Karmen Pedaru, Olivia Palermo, etc., now I can say that I really like them.  

 

There are different models, depending on the height of the heels. Let's start for those that have the higher heel:

  

Estos últimos días estoy viendo bastantes looks street style con las famosas sandalias de tachuelas de Valentino, aunque no son de la última colección del diseñador. Estoy hablando del modelo Rock Studs.

Debo reconocer que, al principio, no me decían nada. Pero, como me suele pasar, tras verlas y verlas por los blogs de moda y en muchas celebrities, como Giovanna Battaglia, Karmen Pedaru u Olivia Parlermo, al final me han acabado gustando. 

 

Hay varios modelos, dependiendo de la altura del tacón. Vamos a empezar primero por las que tienen un tacón más alto:

 

 

 

Now let's have a look at those ones with a shorter heel, also ankle wrap, and that would be the best option for me:

 

Ahora veamos las que tienen un tacón algo más bajo, también con pulsera al tobillo, y que, por tanto, serían ideales para mí. 

 

 

 

And finally the flat ones, which are cute, too. They're perfect for   Alexa Chung's style.

 

Y, por último, las planas, tipo bailarinas con pulsera al tobillo, que también son muy monas. Son perfectas para el estilo de Alexa Chung.

 

 

They cost approx. 600 Eur. The good news is that last season Zara launched a clone so, as they are quite trendy still, it's likely that Zara launches a new clone in spring/summer 2013. I hope so!

 

Tienen un precio de aprox. 600 Eur. Lo bueno es que la temporada pasada Zara lanzó un clon y, como se continúan viendo en el street style, es posible que para la primavera/verano 2013 lance otro. ¡Eso espero!

The spring summer 2010 collection created for Valentino by the design duo Maria Grazia Chiuiri and Pier Paolo Piccioli is a very interesting and elegant line.
This collection is designed for a new generation of Valentino fans.

Vanilla tones blend with sandy and lavender shades on ruffles and ribbons.

They have left red aside and the lighter tones reflect their desire to surprise us with a new colour palette. Organzas wrap around the body, transforming the female figure with pinks and geometric details.

La colección primavera verano 2010 creada para Valentino por la pareja de diseñadores Maria Grazia Chiuiri y Pier Paolo Piccioli es una línea muy interesante y elegante.

Esta colección está diseñada para una nueva generación de fans de Valentino.

Tonos en vainilla combinan con rojizos y lavanda en volantes y jirones.

Han dejado el rojo a un lado y los tonos más suaves reflejan su deseo de sorprendernos con una nueva paleta de colores. Organzas envuelven el cuerpo, transformando la figura de la mujer con rosas y detalles geométricos.
